Toy Run Attracts Hundreds of Riders

A beautiful September day brought hundreds of riders out for the 27th Annual Canadian Biker Toy Run. Over 350 motorcycles joined the parade of bikes as we left Victoria and rode to the All Fun Recreation Park in Langford. With toy and cash donations collected for the St. Vincent de Paul Christmas Fund the great event we enjoyed will bring joy and happiness to many children on Christmas Day.

We would like to thank our sponsors for making the event possible: Save-on-Foods for coffee, pastry and a place to start the run, Coast Capital Insurance Services for help with the police traffic control costs and refreshments at the end of the run, Steve Drane Harley-Davidson and All Fun Recreation Park.

The Langford Fire Department held the draw for a new Harley-Davidson in support of Muscular Dystrophy.

We would also like to thank everyone who entered their bikes in the Show and Shine portion of the event. Congratulations to the winners!
